The unsolved murder of Sister Catherine Ann Cesnik has been a haunting mystery for over five long decades. The beloved nun and educator at Archbishop Keough High School in Baltimore, Maryland was brutally killed in 1969, and despite years of investigation, the perpetrator has never been brought to justice.
Sister Cathy’s body was discovered in January 1970 outside of town near a dump site. To this day, the investigation into her death continues. Her cold case has captured the attention of true crime enthusiasts and inspired numerous books, documentaries, and podcasts.
