“Who said you could use the phone?!”

Those chilling words were recorded during a mysterious call to police in 1987 and may have been the last time anyone heard from Anthonette Christine Cayedito. Her voice, full of fear, was cut off by a man’s angry outburst.

The little girl screams. Then, silence.

Was the girl on the line really Anthonette desperately calling out for help, hoping to be rescued from her kidnapper? It’s been nearly four decades since Anthonette vanished from her family’s home in Gallup, New Mexico, and it seems we are no closer to solving her case now than we were back then.
