“The Pig Farmer Killer” Canadian Serial Killer Fed Women to His Pigs
Robert Pickton admitted to murdering 49 women and said he wished he had killed 50.
Serial killer, Robert Pickton, had a terrifyingly grisly way of getting rid of his victims. He would feed them to his pigs. The animals would feast on the murder victim’s remains, then Pickton would turn around and sell the pork for human consumption.
He is implicated in the deaths of 60 missing women.
The prolific serial killer confessed to his cellmate, an undercover officer, that he had killed 49 people, saying he wished he had killed one more to make it an even 50.
Beginning in the early 1980s, Canada was plagued with the disappearance of dozens of women who just seemingly vanished off the face of the earth. One man alone was responsible: a pig farmer by the name of Robert Pickton.
Pickton inherited his family’s pig farm just before so many local women were mysteriously coming up missing. Many of his victims came from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
His farm was located on the outskirts of Vancouver, British Columbia. Pickton and his brother David owned and operated the farm together.
