On January 26, 2011, the life of 27-year-old Philadelphia teacher Ellen Greenberg was abruptly cut short. Discovered bloodied in her apartment with a shocking 20 stab wounds, the circumstances surrounding her death remain shrouded in mystery. Initially ruled as suicide by investigators, her grieving family believes that she was, in fact, murdered.

Ellen Greenberg’s lifeless body was found by her fiancé in their shared apartment. It was a brutal scene of violence. Despite the gruesome nature of her death, authorities concluded that the young teacher had taken her own life. Details at the crime scene, however, raise suspicion about the accuracy of this determination.

The 20 stab wounds across her chest, back, and neck, challenge the suicide theory. How could she have inflicted so many wounds to herself?

To those who knew Ellen Greenberg, she appeared to be her usual, cheerful self in the days leading up to her death. The question remains: What truly happened in Ellen Greenberg’s apartment on that fateful January day?
