“Today is the Day” for those of us in the True Crime Community who have spent countless hours and sleepless nights agonizing over every minute detail of the University of Idaho quadruple homicides for the past 47 days. Numerous cases have taken our community by storm, but somehow this one was different.

In mid-November, many of us woke up to a horrifying and unbelievable image: blood seeping down the outer walls of a campus rental house. When I say “unbelievable” that’s not an exaggeration! We questioned that image for weeks.

Is it really blood?

Could it be paint?

Rust from the pipes?

It was almost too heartbreaking for us to fathom what the scene inside must look like if it was escaping through the walls!
