Pet Duck Discovers Missing Woman’s Remains!

Crimes can be solved in amazing ways, with help from some unique, bizarre, and unexpected sources; Forensic Files taught me that. And this case might be one of the most incredible examples of a murder solved in a way no one could have ever suspected!

Ninety-year-old Nellie Lucille Sullivan vanished in December of 2020 in her hometown of Candler, North Carolina. Police immediately suspected her granddaughter Angela Wamsley, and Wamsley’s husband, Mark Barnes, had something to do with the disappearance, but without a body, they couldn’t prove anything.

Nellie was living with her granddaughter when she went missing. At the time of her death, she was suffering from many health issues, including dementia. Neighbors say the couple would sometimes leave the grandmother home alone with no food.

Following an incident where Nellie had to be hospitalized for an illness, she returned home to live with her granddaughter, but was never seen again. She was reported missing in 2020 but neighbors claim they hadn’t seen her for years prior to the report.
