Isabella Joy Thallas was gunned down by her assailant for something extremely unusual. Dog feces. She lost her life at only 21 years of age. And for something so insignificant…
It was the 10th of June 2020 and Michael Close, a resident of Denver Colorado’s Ballpark area, shot Isabella 24 times with an AK-47, killing her and wounding her boyfriend.
When he saw Isabella and her boyfriend, Darian Simon, allowing their dog to defecate outside of his apartment, he brought out an AK-47 and without hesitation opened fire on the couple.
Simon says they meant no harm when allowing their pet to relieve itself on the property. Unfortunately, the innocent mistake enraged Close, and he took his anger to the extreme.
There was an exchange of words between the two and Close shouted out his window at the couple, “Are you going to just yell at that dog or train it?” Simon replied by telling him to “mind his own business.”
That was all it took.
