Charles Victor Thompson is a death row inmate currently serving time for double homicide in Texas. In April 1999, he was convicted and sentenced to death for the murder of his on-and-off girlfriend, Dennise Hayslip, and her new boyfriend, Darren Cain, on April 30, 1998.

The story of Dennise Hayslip and Charles Victor Thompson is one of heartbreak and deceit. What started out as a passionate, loving relationship quickly turned into a domestic abuse situation.

Dennise’s decision to end her relationship with Thompson only fueled his abusive behavior. When her new boyfriend, Darren Cain, came to her aid, a fight broke out and two people violently lost their lives.
