Conrad Murray was once a respected physician, but his life took a dramatic turn after Michael Jackson’s shocking death on June 25, 2009. The world was stunned when the King of Pop, at just 50 years old, died suddenly in his Los Angeles home.

Paramedics rushed him to the hospital, but there was nothing they could do.

The death investigation revealed that Jackson’s personal doctor, Murray, had given him a mix of powerful drugs to help him sleep, including propofol — an anesthetic typically reserved for hospitals.

On the night of Jackson’s death, Murray was the only one with him. He administered the drug that would ultimately cause Jackson’s heart to stop.
