On the 1st of April 2000, an ATV rider was out for a joy ride in Burlington, New Jersey when he came across the lifeless body of a young woman. She was lying face down underneath a bridge. She had fallen 112 feet to her death and had been dead for about two days. The victim had on jeans, a sweater, and white socks, but no other personal belongings.

That is, except for a delicate silver butterfly necklace.

She was just 21 years old when she died. Rachel Sinai was attending school at Bucks County Community College and was studying psychology. She also enjoyed participating in the performing arts classes at the community college. She had dreams of becoming a music therapist so she could help other people.

Her boyfriend identified her by the description of the woman released to the public and the butterfly necklace she often wore. Police initially suspected that Rachel had committed suicide by jumping off of the bridge, but her story turned out to be much more complicated than that.
