On the 30th of September, a body of a young male was found in a soybean field not far from Montezuma, Iowa. A local farmer called law enforcement to report that he had found human remains while working in his field. Coincidentally, a 10-year-old Iowa boy had gone missing four months earlier from his Montezuma home.

The following month, the remains were identified as the missing child.

His cause of death has yet to be released.

Xavior Christopher-Tyler Harrelson was a happy, friendly kid who liked to ride his bike, play with his Nintendo Switch and hang out with the other children around his neighborhood. The fourth grader had just finished the school year and was looking forward to spending his free time playing with friends over the summer break.

On the afternoon of the 27th of May 2021, a close neighbor, Samantha Rix reported the 10-year-old missing. He was last seen at 11:00 a.m. that Thursday morning when he left his home. Rix’s 6-year-old was friends with Xavior and the two would often play together around the mobile home park.

When he didn’t show up that day, Rix was concerned. It was unusual for Xavior to not be seen…
