Brian Laundrie’s Remains Possibly Found
When news came out that Brian Laundrie’s personal belongings were found, along with unidentified human remains, I felt like the world came to a halt. That’s not the news I expected. That’s not the news I wanted to hear.
Do I believe the remains truly belong to America’s current most wanted? Yes. What do I believe happened to him? My guess is suicide. He’s been on the run since he came home from a cross-country trip he was on with his fiancé, Gabby Petito. He came home without her.
He said nothing to the media or law enforcement on her whereabouts. And then… he disappeared. A large-scale manhunt has been the focus of the true-crime community since September 13, 2021. Finally, we may have the answers we’ve been looking for… or do we?
We don’t.
Because if those remains are in fact Brian Laundrie, the answers we’ve been desperately seeking have died with him. And I, for one, am not satisfied with this outcome. I wanted him to answer our nagging questions about what happened between him and Gabby.
What led to her death?
Why did he do it?
How does he feel about it?
